Hello and welcome once again to Flatpicking Guitar Magazine’s free lesson portion of our monthly newsletter. This month I offer up two versions of every flatpicker’s favorite swing tune “Sweet Georgia Brown.” The first pass is a simple version of the tune’s melody while the second pass is an advanced composed solo. When I was recording the back-up for this lesson I accidentally played the tunes three times through (instead of two) so I took an improvised solo over the third pass!
