Description

Welcome to the May/June 2014 issue of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine. This is Volume 18, Number 4 of the magazine and it is our special "Old-Time Tune". We have packed this issue with new tunes for you to work with, 22 total. These tunes are presented by 17 guest columnists, plus our regular contributor Adam Granger. This issue has very little textual content because we wanted to pack if full of new tunes for you to play. We asked all of our guest contributors to send in a melody-based arrangement of their favorite old-time tune, plus add a variation or two. We have some great tunes included here that we think you will love playing. Old-time tunes have been showing up at flatpick jams more and more and we wanted to help you learn some of those tunes. We hope you'll enjoy the "Old-Time Tunes" issue!
